I’ve tried to get Backyard Baseball running on Mac OS X 10.4.3 with ScummVM 0.8.0a but have had little success. While the game’s compatibility is only listed as 20% completed the comments do say ’Game is playable, with glitches’, so I figure I should at least be able to get it to run. However, when I load it up I get the ’Humongous Entertainment’ screen followed by the ’It’s Junior Sports’ screen, and then ScummVM crashes. The sounds are great, and there is always fun to listen the characters, the commentators, the cheering crowds and the general ambiance.
